Geppo
Geppo is the member-only quarterly haiku work-study journal of YTHS. Members can submit haiku and votes of appreciation for the haiku of others. Geppo also has artwork, articles and write-ups of YTHS events, as well as commentary from YTHS dōjin on selected submitted haiku. YTHS members are invited to submit haiku and votes to Geppo, following Geppo Submission Guidelines.
Past copies of Geppo have been redacted and archived and can be viewed below. These past Geppo will appear here within two years after they are published and sent to YTHS members. As a benefit of YTHS membership, members receive each issue of Geppo when it is published. Members may choose to receive a printed copy, an electronic PDF copy, or both.. Note that when the PDF of an issue of Geppo is opened (currently only Geppo issues after 1999), the entire text of that Geppo is searchable, meaning you can find all instances of a kigo or phrase.
**Note – In 2001 the first and last issues of Geppo (Numbers 1 amd 6) were mistakenly labelled with the incorrect Volume (XXVI should have been XXIV). Unfortunately, this incorrect Volume was carried forward into all subsequent years of Geppo. So Volume XXV of Geppo does not exist.
Prior to 1991, Geppo was published on a more variable schedule, so Geppo for these years are shown in a separate table below. The number shown is just the ordinal number of the PDF file in the sequence of Geppo published that year.
