Yuki Teikei Haiku Society Members’ 2025 Anthology
Call for Member Submissions
This year’s editor will be Gregory Longenecker, Yuki Teikei Haiku Society member.
DEADLINE (NOTE – Only YTHS Members can submit to the Anthology)
In-hand no later than Tuesday April 15, 2025.
HAIKU Criteria

- Submit 4-6 unpublished haiku that are not in submission or under consideration elsewhere. (They may have appeared in Geppo but not previously published.)
- Each haiku may be flexible in syllable count (17 syllables or less).
HAIKU Celebratory Challenge: in Honor of our 50th Anniversary in 2025,

- Submit 2-3 haiku relating to the idea of celebration, not strictly honoring Yuki Teikei Society. Haiku which acknowledge a significant or happy day, event; feeling happiness.
- Examples include: bar/bat mitzvah, 1st communion, 1st day, solstice/equinox, birth, wedding. Think of colored leaves, high or blue skies, warm winds, and sunny days.

- Please single space your haiku in the body of the email. No attachments please.
- The editor will select 2 of your 4-6 haiku.
- Below your haiku include your name as you wish it to appear in the anthology, and your city, state, and country (if not in the U.S.).

- Include 2 copies of each submission, either typed or legibly printed, together with your name and contact information (see below).
- Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you wish to be informed about the haiku (and the Format Challenge Haiku, if applicable) selected for inclusion in the anthology.
- All mailed submissions must include your full name, your name as you wish it to appear in the anthology, mailing address, phone number (which the editor will use only if there are any questions about your submission), and an email address if available.
